I hear that one all the time from candidates who I am recruiting for job openings.  It is staggering the number of bosses that simply do not talk to their people.  From the standpoint of running the organization well it is simply poor business.  From an employee retention strategy perspective, it is insane.

Communication drives trust and trust drives loyalty. Bottom line. Loyal employees don’t quit. Any employee retention strategy should have building loyalty as a primary goal. How well a boss communicates WILL impact your employee retention!
