“We have nothing to fear but fear itself” FDR
I often wonder if CEOs understand what fear can do to employee retention and what happens when it takes hold. Are most oblivious when fear exists in their organization? Are managers aware of the impact fear has on employee retention in their department?
It is an interesting phenomena to see what happens when fear takes hold and how it will devastate an organization or a department and devastate employee retention. The results go beyond employee retention. No pun intended but, you should be scared to death of fear in your organization!
